Steelwood High Bar Stool by Magis. Stool with seat and foot-rest in steel plate painted in epoxy resin. Legs in solid beech. Interesting materials and connection details but I am not sure it is worth $500.

Very cool. We've been looking for a couple of high stools. I'll wait 'till they trim off one of the 0's though...
If each leg came with an integrated attachment that could hold a choice bottle of top shelf liquor this price point would be more palatable.
By adding this feature, a user could eliminate the need for a table and even an alcohol bar display shelf, so the savings could then be applied to a self sustaining stool/bottle carrier unit.
Now if it also came with the bottles of liquor, well it would be a must buy, especially when heading into a Holiday Season with family, friends and co-workers.

KV, they would look great in that kitchen. Maybe you can buy them as samples for work?
